There’s been so much crap written about “everything 2.0″, yet I’ve seen scant discussion, that is to say that there’s really been NO discussion, on what “Sales 2.0″ really means for the discipline of sales and marketing. What changes in Sales 2.0?
… Sales reps are taking customer communications into their own hands and to an entirely new level. Starting their own blogs, engaging in social networking and generally putting a friendlier face, theirs, on the corporate message.

Thanks for picking up this thread. I really believe that there is much change to happen yet in the world of sales. Web 2.0 is real, inasmuch as it is a call for a rethinking of how we go about doing certain things in business & technology. Same goes for sales. There have been changes building up over time that I think we’re about ready to see burst onto the scene in a bigger way in the near future.
